Fish Pie and a warm 10°

Apologies, there is not much time to write today. Email has not been working and we have been out doing many things.

We went to a castle today. I will send pictures when I am able. The castle was sweet, like nothing I've ever seen.

I learned a lot about myself this week so that was good.

We have a mission conference tomorrow for Northern Scotland so that should be fun.

We have two of the funniest elders staying with us right now.

I went on exchanges with the zone leaders and they are really focused on me so that helped a lot.
Both of them are amazing missionaries and they go home soon so they want to train me well.

Teaching is going well. We have a few on date. Going to be baptizing on Thursday, one of the sister's friends. She is my friend too but they were just the ones who met with her.

My companion is the best. He is so funny and really good.

The ward is so awesome!! Some of the coolest people. They are feeding us and always serving so it is inspiring. Lots of Young Single Adults too.
I was able to give one a blessing, really just the coolest thing ever.

The weather is good, really getting warmer so that's cool. No more negatives! It was about 10° today.

And I had fish pie this week which was bomb! I will make it when I get home, it's that good.

Chinese Whisperer

So my week. Oh boy oh boy. I am in Aberdeen now and I am now DT which is district trainer. Haha. So ridiculous. I have no idea what I’m doing. I just got here. And now I’m in a land I know nothing about and I am supposed to help people. All I know is I will try really hard and do the best I can. That’s really all I have been doing.

Having a lot of harsh thoughts lately and trying not to let them get to me because I know its just stopping me from the work. So I don’t let it!  I just want to be good, you know?

My new trainee is Elder Parker. He seems cool so far. We were on a train together all morning. He is from Northern Cali. So funny.

I was sad to leave Hoaldridge and others, it was a rough morning. But I know we will be friends for a lot longer than this so that is nice.

The area is different, it is really far north. I haven’t heard too much about this area yet. Our ward has us and a sister team. Then in our area is the zone leaders and another sister team.

I am in a four-man flat with the zone leaders so that is fun. I am the only Chinese speaker here. The zone leaders were telling me their goal is to get me all the Chinese they can. They say that I am the Chinese whisperer. Hah.

President told me to learn a lot from the zone leaders so that is what I will do. He is a great man, I sure do love him. The AP’s called to make sure I was ok too. Love those guys as well.

Apologies for not emailing anyone this week. It’s been a long day and I am currently at the church and not able to do so.

Chicken Wing Society

This week was good.

Figure I'll tell you (mom) before you hear from someone else, my tonsils were having a fun time this last week. Gemma came to the rescue with fruits and power shots. So blessed.

Snowed more this week which is always fun. Driving to sport in the morning and was like whhhhhaaat... minus 6. So fun!

Went to a chicken wing society from Galsgow uni haha. They were a self-referral and wanted to learn more about us because we are always the " friendly guys they see". That was really funny. Went to this flat and they made us tons of chicken wings and then we were able to teach them the Restoration! It was awesome. Like nothing I have experienced or think I will again. All 6 of us taught which was funny too.

Anyway sorry kind of random stuff. But I'm doing good.
