Teaching and finding is going on, it's the end of uni so a bit rough but that's ok.

 It's been warm as you can see in the pics, such a blessing. We were able to play some ball for a bit.

The park in the pictures is right outside my flat. Look up the meadows in Edinburgh.

So this week was a very interesting week. We were rearranged! That pretty much explains most of the week but I guess I can write a bit more. 

We had loads of finding this week so that was good. I love finding soooo much:) it is the best even when people aren't! haha I learn so much. 

I always ask every person I talk to for advice and it seems to go pretty well. That is if I get them to stop. It is always such a blessing to be out and sharing Gods love with other people. Nothing else compares to it. 

Not many people wanted to talk for most of the week so I was learning a lot of patience. 

We were also in a trio for a few days which was pretty funny! We were given a new elder for a few days and they just said go for it, so we did. 

On Saturday we still didn't find any new peeps so that was sad. Then we had some miracles and were able to pray really hard and have them answered. One way or another we were able to teach a few times! It was such a blessing and a great reminder of whose work this is! 

When you give it all to Him things work out. Don't get caught up in the little things but remember what is really important. 

Walking through the meadows this week I was able to talk with a guy who had some physical disabilities. People are just not nice sometimes and it makes me so sad. When I stopped him he started to cry and me being the big baby that I am well i was right there with him. We sat down on a bench and were able to talk for a really long time. It was such a great learning moment for me. 

I have been working on being positive and knowing how to have more love for people. In my time I can say that I am so blessed because through things like this I think I have been able to see a bit more of the way that He sees. It is such a humbling experience. Words cant describe some of the things that I have been able to see. The miracles and blessing of the Lord are not always realized by me right away but they are out there all the time and I am so thankful for when I can see them. 

Also we went to the beach. We played football on the sand then went up to that castle thing. We made a fire inside and made food...hot dogs steaks and pork.

Trying to think of what we did this week. We had a lot of finding. I am trying to figure my way around this place. Really do love it here so far. 

Our flat is right next to what’s called the meadows. Pretty much just these giant fields! It's so nice. Loads of people always there so its fun to find as we walk to the uni and the city! 

People here are funny. They are super used to missionaries because we have an army here. Haha. All of which I love. Such good examples around me here. 

The weather is warming up a bit, which is super nice. 

We made some hot pot this week! It was awesome. We were with the other elders last night and have decided to have hot pot Sundays so that’s fun! Always super good. 

Really looking forward to General Conference! I love it so much, it has meant so much more to me being on a mission. 

Still trying to figure out what's changed. haha. For now, we will just say that hopefully I’m changing for the better. 

.....Forgot a spiritual thing. Can’t forget that. Our President sent us straight fire this week so I figure I'll share that! 

"Please know that when you are struggling it is because you have forgotten your purpose. I ask you to repent, forget yourself and go to work. It will all make sense if you do. " 

I love love love this! I know that not everyone is on a mission right now but that doesn’t mean that you don’t have a purpose. We all have a part in this great work and in our Heavenly Fathers plan! It truly is the best thing ever. Was reading this week something from the prophet. He talked about how nothing is more important on earth than this work. I invite you all to figure out what you can do to help in this. If you are having a hard time its probably because you are not putting the Lord first. Forget yourself and the things in life that make that not happen and then go work hard whatever that looks like for you!
