Food Tour

This week was pretty special. We went on exchanges most days which was exciting. Always fun being with lots of different elders. Back with Elder Parker for a day. He is the best! 

Trying to really just go for it if you know what I mean. 

Also it's rugby world cup so that too. 

I bought a rugby ball. I'm missing it a lot right now. 

I had to pay for a learning license thing here. Surprisingly, they want me to drive more! 

Not sure if you can see but my eye got wrecked.

Responsible Inventory

Monday, August 26th

Things are gonna be getting crazy soon here with moves this week and Elder Anderson coming. Lots of planning and travel and missionaries and such so I'm supposed to be responsible.

My companion told me in an inventory the other day something that I was thankful for. He said 'Elder McRoberts, you are very responsible. One of the most I have ever met.' hahaha, I laughed.

He said 'Not in the way you do everything (hahaha), but you take 100% accountability for the things that you do. You take responsibility for all consequences, good and bad.'

I was very thankful for that because that was something that I really struggled with before the mission. At least thinking back I realize that I was a punk.

So I am very thankful for the atonement and for the chance that we all have to become better through our Savior.
