Custom baby seal leather boots and bloody hands

January 21, 2019

-The comp is good, honestly he gives me a run for my money.

-This morning in the shower I role played to myself, practiced finding people on the streets and I played both sides. I am always thinking about how I can be better in the work and so I practice things like this all the time.
-Sometimes I make it really hard on myself too, I will give myself some strange responses.
-And then I do it in Chinese.
-I realized we have so much time in the day where we can be productive in multiple ways.

-I am learning people are hard. Oh man are they hard. But I am also learning it is ok.
-I am learning people can be very stuck in their ways and think a lot of themselves.

-I think often about what President said to me about why I'm here. It helps me a lot.

-I am constantly striving to work, and then work even harder, and go to bed exhausted every day.

-I love Chinese so much. I love the people. They make it so great.

-My hand started bleeding from the cold. Had to take my glove off to answer a phone call from a girl who was lost. Apparently I'm like a local to Glasgow now.  haha

-We teach a lot of Chinese. Basically we speak very simple English to our friends so the comp can understand and then I do Chinese for them so I know they get it and in more depth.
-The comp thinks its funny, especially when I forget how to say things.
-It is hard going back and forth constantly from Chinese to English. A lot of Chinglish

-I have grown a bit since I left so that's nice. Still got Liam!

-Heavenly Father's plan is so great. I love love love being a missionary. It is the best thing ever.  This work is the best and I love working!!

Elder Zobell and the Hot pot!! Again so good. Love these Chinese people so much.
